This is an easy activity to help practice and study spelling words. It helps to write and see the letters separated in the individual squares. My kids and I have been using sticky note graph paper so that it can stick to a wall/bed post/booster seat, etc. while studying.
You will need: graph paper, pencil, and list of spelling words.
1. Write the spelling words on the graph paper, putting one letter in each square.
2. Study and practice. Simple as that! Try to focus on what your child does right instead of stressing the mistakes he or she makes. Try to keep your tone positive even if studying for spelling becomes a struggle. Studying will just become harder if it becomes a high-stress situation for you and your child.
